Get Ready for GDPR – Malvern, Worcester
Next May the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force.
GDPR defines how you must take care of personal information you hold within your organisation (be it a business, charity or society) and keep it safe and secure. These new rules on data privacy will apply to all businesses and organisations so everyone needs to know about it. You are expected to be 100% compliant from day one, so now is the time to get ready!
In this workshop you will learn about:
- What is GDPR and how it will affect you
- How to assess your business data needs
- Implications for marketing
- Practical ways to improve your data handling
With the help of case studies, we will show you the practical steps you need to take to get into shape for GPDR. How to:
Find out what data you hold
Decide whether you need to keep it
Agree on who has access to what data
Make yourself compliant with GDPR.
Who should attend?
The workshop is suitable for anyone who has a business, runs a charity or any type of organisation and wishes to understand more about GDPR and how it applies to their operation.
Open Space Rooms is easily accessible off the Hereford Worcester Road or from Malvern. There is ample free parking on site. Refreshments will be provided.
